Honda XL 80S description

Here's a really nice first year model 1980 Honda XL80 S with 1620 miles. It's almost a barn find as it was stored in a garage since 1976. The rims are mint...no damage anywhere I can see and all parts are there and unmolested since new. It's the first year of the XL80s and therefore a collectable vintage bike needing only a mild restoration to look new again. It starts and runs just great and was stored with the float bowl drained of gasoline. I rode it a few years ago.,..and everything worked !  There are a few spots of rust on the upper fork tubes and on the exhaust pipe...but other than that....it's in great shape. Provided with Bill of Sale.

Bike is located in Conley Georgia which is 8 miles south of Atlanta. Seller will assist in storage and shipping. Buyer pays all shipping costs.

Biaggi ends his 21-year international racing career with six world championships, with four consecutive 250cc Grand Prix titles from 1994 to 1997 to go along with his 2010 and 2012 WSBK titles.

Honda Re-Signs Marc Marquez Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Wed, 14 May 2014

Marc Marquez has signed a contract extension with Honda Racing Corporation that will see the reigning MotoGP champion stay with the manufacturer through the end of the 2016 season. “We are very satisfied to have reached an agreement to keep Marc in the team for a further two seasons,” says Shuhei Nakamoto, executive vice president of HRC. “Of course, as Honda, we wanted to keep Marc in our family, and he also wanted to stay with us so … it was natural to renew the contract even if it is very early in the season!

Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.
