Posting this for my wife's uncle, he recently went into a nursing home. 2005 Honda VTX1300R, the "R" stands for retro. Classic cruiser look with big fenders and foot boards. Bike is in nice shape, showing no signs of ever being dropped or laid down. Front tire is worn out and will need replacement. Rear tire is good for at least another season. I don't know the maintenance history of the bike, but it does run well. Handling is a little sketchy because of the worn front tire. I hear a noise from the front brakes kind of like the rotor has a little runout. Wheels show some oxidation and could use a good cleaning. Other than that she runs good. 47K miles. AMA Supercross: 2012 Atlanta Results
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Superstock TT Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012John McGuinness put another notch in his belt, capturing his 19th career victory in the Isle of Man TT by winning the Royal London 360 Superstock TT race. Despite leading all active racers in TT wins, the Superstock victory was just the first in that category for McGuinness. The Honda rider led from start to finish in the four-lap Superstock TT race.
Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Earlier this month, Honda unveiled a new CBR300R model at the CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China. The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
