Up for sale is a 2003 Honda VTX 1800c motorcycle. I bought this at a Dealer's auction sold by Progressive. They gave it a salvage title however there isn't much damage to this. It runs and drives and has low mileage. Fires right up. I drove it as is just fine. There is minor damage here and there. Please inspect all pictures carefully. There is no warranty and this bike is being sold as is.

The Good:
Fires right up, drives down the road, sounds sweet with the aftermarket pipes.

The Bad:
See pics. I've taken pictures of all the things I noticed. Things I noticed are minor dent in exhaust, dent and scrapes in gas tank, front right foot peg / brake assy damaged, cracked air cleaner cover (I took it off as seen in pics), and scrape in fork (Although structurally it seems fine and doesn't look bent).

Bike comes with Salvage Title.

You are welcome to inspect in person in Canton, MI prior to bidding. If you click buy it now a $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit will need to be made so make sure you want it. After some minor work this will make a sweet bike for someone for a cheap price. The color is beautiful. I also have a video of it running on you tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USDPEgzWOaE. This comes with the saddle bags and windshield seen in the pics.

Feel free to email me questions or to come check out the bike in person. If it doesn't sell on here I'll fix it up and sell it for more in the spring.

Rossi Wins at Assen, but Lorenzo Is the Hero; Alpinestars Releases Crash Data

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.

2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.

How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.
