Honda Shadow description

Up for sale is my 2004 Honda Shadow Aero 750.
It has:
Floor boards
Windscreen
Pipes
Zip off saddle bags
sissy bar and rear seat
triple lights
tool bag over front fender
bike cover

The bike has between 5k and 6k miles on it. I ride it when the weather is nice enough but it's getting to be the end of that season.
The bike is listed locally for sale as well. Paypal accepted but would prefer cash on pick up as pay pall makes it's money on seller fees.

Always well maintained, synthetic oil used for life of the bike, never downed. Some swirl marks in paint but they are light and the wax on it has kept it looking good over the years.
I cover the bike in the winter and it stays in the Garage before salt hits the roads. Very clean, no rust or rot, runs perfect, only selling to fund some other projects this winter.

Shipping is at buyers expense and is not covered in the purchase price.
Clean title in hand
All sales are final, no warranty expressed or implied.

Test rides are welcome but you must have full asking or a pre-negotiated sale price in hand, that I get to hold onto before you leave the driveway. If you lay the bike down, skip gears shifting and over rev it, or any other form of damage results from your handling then you bought it.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
