Honda Shadow description

1983 Honda Shadow VT500, 1983 Honda Shadow 500 cc with low mileage, recently inspected, and tuned up. COMPLETELY FREE OF RUST, SCRATCHES, AND COSMETIC BLEMISHES. Clean title and California DMV registration is paid until June of 2014. The motorcycle was inspected by a licensed mechanic specializing in vintage motorcycles. The bike has a new Dunlop front tire and horn. The Dunlop rear tire is newer and has sufficient tread. The flywheel bolt was fixed as per a Honda service bulletin. The bike's charging system is working. The fork seal is in good condition. The front brake is at 70% and the rear brake is at 80%. The steering headset is in good condition. The radiator has no leaks. The frame, brake calipers, master cylinder, rims, swing arm, fuel tank, handle bars, muffler, and pipes are all in good condition. The bike has also been tuned-up including an oil change, valve cleaning, cam chain adjustment, and carburetor cleaning. Cash in hand and valid motorcycle license to test ride. The 500cc VT500C introduced in 1983 features chrome side covers and black engine covers. The headlight is chrome and rectangular and has a single horn. Toni Elias to Substitute for Injured Hector Barbera at Laguna Seca

Former Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias is back in the premiere MotoGP class, albeit on a temporary basis. The Pramac Racing satellite Ducati team has signed Elias to race at the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in place of Hector Barbera who is sidelined with a broken leg.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
