Honda Rebel description

2008 Black Honda Rebel 250. This is a GREAT starter bike, the best on the market. Also very popular bike for female riders due to low seat, and the very light weight. It was garage kept and pristine until it was relocated to me in October 2013. I keep it in a car port covered or the garage since purchase. Some dampness must come from a rain rides occasionally and the kick stand spring was vulnerable for some rust is on it, but it's still operating fine, it's just the only blemish so to say. It runs perfectly and looks amazing with no damage or scratches/dents. Low milage because previous owner (up until october 2013) didn't ride, just performed routine maintenance and had only 800mis and was show room perfect when I bought it. He stored it in a temperature controlled garage. (His wife was reluctant to ride). Other than that hardly noticeable rust, it's still in amazing shape. Electronic start. We ride it about town on weekends. Only selling to upgrade its rider to a larger bike. Training is over :) for extras, it haas sissy bar/ back rest. Can include the cover if needed. (I.e. Non garage bound) Buyer must pick up locally or arrange pick up themselves from my location. Contact seller if you are in the area and would like to arrange to see it.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.

Actual Motorcycle or My Little Pony Character?

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

1 of 6Next Last A little while ago, we published a review of a motorcycle Honda produces for the Indian market called the Unicorn Dazzler. Yes, that’s the actual name of a production motorcycle designed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a Honda subsidiary. In his review of the 150cc motorcycle, Rajeev Gaikwad said the Honda Unicorn Dazzler was “a handsome commuter with an enthusiastic and proven engine” though it was underwhelming in terms of performance and handling as the higher-priced successor to the regular Honda Unicorn also sold in India.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.
