Honda's latest Cub

Fri, 18 May 2012

Honda released their original C100 Super Cub way back in 1958 when other bikes at the time proved to be notoriously unreliable and difficult to ride. Since then, they have sold over 27 million C90s, with the step-through framed bike proving to be easy to ride and even easier to maintain. Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.

Some may baulk at Honda’s description of the Fury as “radical.” Sure it’s not mind-blowing in the way a $60K custom can be, but it’s worth noting that not even Harley-Davidson has produced a bike with a rake angle so stretched or a wheelbase as long. So let’s admit that, for the normally staid Honda, the Fury is radical.
