No Reserve!!!!
1970 Honda QA 50 Bought this bike in spring from the original owner. He replaced the motor with a Honda C100 motor out of a scooter in 75' to give it more speed and easier to get cheaper parts at that time. Welds look great. Looks like factory. Runs great! Idles great! 2 speed. Since I got the bike I, - Flushed the gas tank - Cleaned the petcock - Rebuilt the carb (chemical boil, new gaskets) - New fuel line with fuel filter Kick starter sheared off. It is the easiest push start I've ever had. Click it in gear, push it a couple feet and it starts. Could use tires. Rear goes flat after a couple days. Couple rips in original seat. Slight tweak on the bars. All around a solid trail bike that his torque in the low gear and speed in 2nd gear. Running out of room for all my bikes so this one is on the block. For sale locally so reserve the right to end the auction if it sells before the auction end time. Thanks!! |

2013 Repsol Honda Team Livery Revealed
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Repsol Honda revealed the livery off its RC213V racebikes and leathers of riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez for the 2013 MotoGP season. The livery is again dominated by the colors of the team’s top sponsor, Spanish oil giant Repsol, but with more white and less black, particularly along the bottom of the fairing. The Repsol logos on the sides now slope downward toward the swingarm whereas the previous design had them rising up toward the seat.
Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi
Mon, 27 May 2013Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.
