Honda Other description

2012 Honda VT1300CXA Fury, Blue Fury Chopper! - 2012 VT13CX Fury vt1300 fury. From its radically raked front end to its minimalist frame to its in-your-face 1,312 cc V-twin engine, the Honda VT1300CXA Fury is a throwback to the days when choppers ruled the road. But unlike some other wild customs, the Fury is based on sound engineering and solid construction. It may look like a piece of art, but it steers and rides with a predictability that makes you immediately feel comfortable and in control. A specially designed shaft-drive system cleanly and quietly transfers power to the big 200-series rear tire, adding to the Fury’s uncluttered look while also keeping maintenance to a minimum. And if you need to stop in a hurry, Honda’s Combined Braking System with ABS provides both the operating ease of linked brakes and the control of an advanced anti-lock braking system. Twist the throttle, and soak in the sweet sound and feel of the big V-twin engine as you head out on the highway for a ride that’s well out of the ordinary. And be prepared to turn a lot of heads.

The San Carlo Gresini race team announced it will compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship as a Claiming Rules Team with a Honda CBR1000RR engine in an FTR prototype chassis. The move is a late, but unfortunately necessary change from the team’s original plan to run the factory-level Honda RC213V racebike. The late Marco Simoncelli was tabbed to ride the newest version of Honda’s MotoGP machine next season, but after his tragic death, Gresini had to find another option if it wanted to continue racing.
