For Sale - vintage Honda Odyssey FL250 project. This project has been sitting a few years, did start it two months ago when it was brought out of storage, do not officially know if it is an 82 or 83, do not have a title, this basically needs to be gone through from end to end. What is cool though it that someone made a pretty detailed roll cage, tube nerf bars, and a riveted sheet metal body. Maybe this was a vintage racer in the 80's? Hard to say, super cool though, listing our entire vintage collection. Check out the photos, we can assist with shipping as far as loading etc, you are welcome to plan a road trip and come out to Phoenix and pick up as well, the weather is great! If you need delivery we can refer you to a local independent transporter who delivers bikes, motorcycles and trailers from our area to the east coast with routes along the way, and they are very reasonable for shipping. Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.
Awesome Anaheim Supercross
Fri, 11 Jan 2013The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross. I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos. We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks. The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
