Great starter bike. 1981 Honda Gl500. Run great. 42k. $1300 or best offer. Engine and transmission runs strong, Dark green paint, in good conditions
It comes with a rear seat that pulls off and can be replaced by trunk (both included). Front Brake system was replaced last year by Liberty Vintage Cycle from discover channels short lived show Philly Throttle. Bike is as is. Please ask any question or take a look before bidding. Please keep in mind this is a 35 year old bike. Was used daily for a few years by me until i upgraded. It has been sitting for a bit unused and needs a good home. Bike is in Maple Shade, NJ. 2013 Mugen Shinden Ni Electric Race Bike Revealed
Fri, 10 May 2013Noted Honda tuning company Mugen has revealed the second generation version of its electric racebike which will race in the TT Zero at the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Shinden Ni (“Shinden” meaning “God of Electricity” while “Ni” is the number two in Japanese) will once again be ridden by 19-time TT winner John McGuinness. Mugen has been working on the Shinden Ni since last year’s TT Zero, using data collected in the race and during tests at circuits in Japan.
2012 Honda NSF250R Race Bike Coming to America
Wed, 03 Aug 2011American Honda announced it is bringing the new 2012 HRC NSF250R Moto3-spec race bike to the U.S. Though it was developed primarily for competition in the Moto3 World Championship, the 249cc Honda NSF250R will be legal for some racing classes in the U.S. including in USGPRU and WERA.
AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.
