Honda Other description

For sale is my 1976 Honda XL 125. I recieved the bike serveral years ago as a gift from a family friend who was too old to ride it. It sat in his barn for many years after he bought it from the original owner. This bike is in great condition considering its age. It runs great - easily travels 55mph, wheelies, starts right up. It has some older street tires on currently but is fun in the woods as well. This would be a great bike to add to an enthusiast's collection - or a perfect first bike to learn on for any age.

The bike could use a new battery (although all lights function while bike is running).

The handlebars are slightly bent.

The gas valve leaks slightly when being turned from "off" and the bike runs best on "reserve".

The bike is 37 years old - it has pitting on some of the chrome and rusting (cosmetic) on the exhaust system.

The bike is currently LOCATED and REGISTERED/INSURED in CONNECTICUT - The title was lost many years ago and CT does not issue new ones for bikes this old.

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.

The Motoped: What Happens When A Mountain Bike And Pit Bike Mate – Video

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

The picture above is not photoshopped. What you’re looking at is called a Motoped. Technically a motorized bicycle, the Motoped uses a custom made frame and swingarm and bolts to a Honda XR50 (or Chinese knockoff) engine.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Day 3

Thu, 19 May 2011

If you’ve read with us so far (Day 1, Day 2), you already know we’re on a journey from Virginia to Tennessee on the 2012 Honda Gold Wing. Yesterday we shared how the Wing, improved for 2012, reacted on a rainy day in the curves of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This time, I can report the stately Wing effortlessly pounds out superslab miles.
