Honda Gold Wing description

Selling a beautiful, full-dress 2002 Honda Goldwing which has been professionally maintained and always garaged. It has minor blemishes but is in excellent mechanical condition. Rides like a dream and gets 45-55 mpg. It has 85k miles on it, but anyone who knows this model knows that's just a good start. The ONLY reason I'm selling this is I bought a trike and ran out of room in the garage. If you want to take a look, feel free to contact me to arrange a viewing. Local pick-up only.

Special features: CB radio, AM/FM, weather, passenger communication, extra chrome, passenger arm-rests, heated hand-grips, carpet kit, full reverse for backing, battery less than a year old

*The recall on the master cylinder for this model HAS been performed, which is a $700 repair.

Remember push starts?

Fri, 18 Nov 2011

Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Watch this space...... oh, and hopefully see you at the NEC over the next ten days!

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
