Honda Gold Wing description

1983 Honda GL1100 Goldwing Interstate in decent shape with fairly low miles.  I have ridden this bike for two years. It starts right off and runs real good. It has some flaws which I will list: The bike needs a rear tire and needs the rear brakes fixed. This bike is equipped with aftermarket electronic cruise control that does not always work and once in a while the blinkers will not work. Other than this it is a good runner and good looker that I ride just about everyday. I do plan on getting some better pictures up in the next day or two but I wanted to spark some interested.

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.

Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Las Vegas Results

Mon, 07 May 2012

Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.
