Honda GL500 description

 For sale is this 1982 Honda GL500 Custom. This bike became a mentorship project for three young students from Monte Del Sol Charter School and Waldorf School during 2015 & 2016.
The bike was completely disassembled and cleaned. After deciding the process and shape of this build, work for the students started! All parts are freshly powder coated or painted. Many new and custom parts such as tires, seat, Shorai battery, carburetors, cables, lights, turn signals, handle bar, switches, exhaust, fork seals, rear shock, pod-filter, grips, gauge, etc.

Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.

Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production

Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.
