Honda Elite 80 description

PAYPAL ONLY!!! LOCAL PICK-UP IN THE ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. AREA
You are bidding/or Buying-Now a 2005 HONDA Elite scooter w/2077 miles.

The color is red and it has a clear N.J. title in my name. The scooter starts, runs and rides great! Besides the scooter, also included is one key, the owners booklet, a spare battery, spare oil and a spare spark plug.

I am the second owner of this scooter and purchased it as a starter cycle for my daughter who has since moved up to larger cycles. While learning she low speed, low sided crashed it twice in my yard on dirt, causing damage to the fairing and rear wheel cover which I repaired but you can still see the damage noticed in a couple of the photos. Also, the scooter appears to burn oil a bit and should be checked periodically.

Please study the photos, ask your questions, consult your local Honda Guru as all auction wins and buys are final; NO RETURNS FOR ANY REASON! I will drive and meet a buyer or deliver the scooter up to 50 miles for an additional fee of $100 through PayPal invoice upon purchase and payment. Thanks for looking and Good Luck with your Bids and Buys!

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Honda CBR300R Confirmed for Canada for 2015

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

It’s taken a while, but the Honda CBR300R has finally been confirmed for North America, as Honda Canada announced it would be available in the fall as a 2015 model. American Honda has yet to announced whether it would offer the CBR300R, but with today’s announcement of the NM4 and PCX150, we expect the CBR250R replacement will also be coming a a 2015 model. Discuss this at our Honda CBR300 Forum.
