Honda CRF description
2013 Honda CRF450X, The perfect choice - The same bike that wins pro-level enduro events is also the perfect choice for trail riding with your friends. That’s the beauty of the Honda CRF450X. Sure, it makes huge power, thanks to a 449 cc liquid-cooled Unicam four-stroke engine with electric start that’s tuned to produce strong low-end and midrange performance to help tame the toughest terrain. And of course the chassis has all the latest go-fast goodies, including a light but strong twin-spar aluminum frame, fully adjustable Showa inverted cartridge fork, Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD), and trail-smoothing Pro-Link rear suspension. But it’s the way that the engine and chassis work together to produce such a predictable, confidence-inspiring ride that sets the CRF450X apart. Power and handling – it’s a combination that both pros and weekend warriors can appreciate.

New kit: Davida Jet helmet
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The Davida Jet helmet is a quality piece of kit, made here in dear Old Blighty. I got my hands on one just a few days before I went on the CB1100 launch last week and I thought it suited Honda's big retro perfectly. The lining and finish is superb, with high gloss paint and a padded/quilted leather interior.
MotoGP should return to Suzuka
Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
