Villopoto, Roczen Dominate AMA Supercross in Oakland

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA.   In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.

EICMA 2011: Honda NC700X Unveiled

Alongside the Honda NC700S at EICMA comes the NC700X, a “crossover” model with better off-road capability. Like the NC700S, the 2012 Honda NC700X is powered by Honda’s new 670cc parallel Twin engine. The 2012 AMA Supercross Championship race is getting tighter with a fourth race winner in as many rounds following James Stewart‘s victory in Oakland, Calif. The JGRMX Yamaha racer captured his first win of the 2012 season at Oakland’s O.co Coliseum. Stewart out-dueled longtime rival Chad Reed of TwoTwo Motorsports Honda for the win.
