Honda CB description

This auction is for a really nice CB550K with low mileage and original parts.  The bike is the burgundy color (technically it was called "Candy Apple Red")

The motorcycle is located in New Jersey (zip code 07421).

The mileage is 13,600.3 exactly.  In one of the pictures it is 13,599 before I took it for a spin around the block.

This bike has always been garaged and shows very little wear.

The engine rides really well and is in great condition.

The tool kit is intact.

The seat is the original seat in mint condition.

The side panels are intact.

The gas tank is in great condition.  It has a few very minor scratches in the paint.

The entire bike has all original parts except for the left rear view mirror, which looks like the original but has a longer arm.

Please see the pictures for details of the motorcycle.  If you need more pictures, please let me know.

-- The tread on the tires are very worn.  The tires ride well but should be replaced.

-- The neutral light works intermittently.  (It may just need a new bulb).

-- The top left exhaust pipe at the very end in the center only has rusted out.  See the picture as it is hard to tell.

-- Other than the above 3 items, it is basically in mint condition.

Please see all the pictures and I am available for any questions.

A $400.00 paypal deposit should be paid within 48 hours of the close of the auction.

The remainder should be paid in cash when the motorcycle is picked up within 10 days of the close of the auction.  It will be available for pickup on Saturday or Sunday.

A Lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with John McGuinness – Video

Tue, 26 Jun 2012

The Isle of Man TT is a very special event. Once the most prestigious motorcycle event in the world, the TT requires a certain type of character to ride superbikes at an average speed of over 130 mph through the quaint villages and over the rolling hills of the 37.73-mile Mountain Course. But don’t take my word for it, take the word of 19-time TT winner John McGuinness.
