Honda CB description
The bike is about 80% restored with the following having been done: New tires and tubes, new brake shoes on back and pads on front. New Cycle Exchange front fork tubes, springs, seals and fork oil, new Cycle Exchange rear shocks, both lowering the bike by 1 inch, front and back. New right side switch cluster. New front brake hydraulic hoses, master cylinder and rebuilt caliper. The front brake rotor was cut, trued and drilled. New clutch, brake and throttle cables were lubed and installed. New complete 4-into-4 factory replica exhaust ($1200). Oil pressure gauge installed. New wheel bearings both front and back. New front and back sprockets and chain. Paolo & Franco Tarozzi front fork brace. A Pamco Electronic ignition system was installed which include high output coils, new plugs and wires. Much improved throttle response and no more points to adjust. Joker Machine Billet distributor and clutch covers along with kick-start elimination cap. New battery installed. Inside the gas tank was cleaned with rust remover. Tank and side covers were painted at an auto body shop. All four carburetors were rebuilt and synchronized. K&N air filter. Synthetic oil used since the rebuild, changed every 1000 miles. Both wheels were powder coated and new spokes installed. New 60/55 watt Halogen H4 headlights. New seat cover. New foot pegs. New fork tube rubber guards. New tail light. New handlebar & hold down clamp. New PIAA horn. New fuse holder/connection with all new fuses and spares. New combined rectifier/regulator. The bike runs strong, idles smooth and the engine does not smoke whatsoever. Transmission is typical Honda flawless. The clutch is tight with no slippage. All above work were performed by certified motorcycle mechanics. No expense was spared and quality parts were used for a quality build. The bike was not built with resale or profit in mind. I have about $6000 in the bike. The bike is tagged in Virginia until March of 2014. The rear tire is new but it has small dry rot cracks (must have been old stock). Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility but I would assist any way I can. I only accept USD cash from the person standing in front of me, or PayPal. No bank transfers. If at all possible, I recommend coming to see and hear the bike for yourself. If you do come-by bring a trailer and cash. My experience is the guy with a trailer and cash usually gets the best deals. Thank you for looking.

60's styled electric concept bike
Mon, 19 Mar 2012This electric concept bike takes the styling of an Ossa Grand Prix ridden in late 1960s by Santiago Herrero and brings it into the 21st century. From Barcelona design studio ART-TIC the Monocasco takes its styling cues from Ossa's monocoque racing bike that was introduced at the end of the 1960s. Spain's first motorcycle Grand Prix hero, Herrero took the bike to four victories before his fatal crash in the 1970 Isle of Man TT.
