Engine Size (cc)Engine Size (cc):400 WarrantyWarranty:Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty TypeType:Sport Bike For Sale ByFor Sale By:Private Seller

Honda CB description

Four cylinder, four stroke, 400cc Honda in good running condition. Engine starts right up with choke, runs well.  All electrics work.  Brakes work well.  All gears good.  Repainted, in good condition.

The right side cover is included; however, its upper tabs are broken off so cover will not stay on securely.

Bike has stock header pipes with aftermarket muffler.  Exhaust works as-is.  However, the muffler needs a bracket fabricated to attach it better, and to prevent the center-stand from folding up too high and rubbing drive chain.  Alternatively, install an original muffler, which has rubber bumper for center-stand.

There is a small ding on the front fender.  The bike does not have a side-stand, nor the frame tab to attach one.

Bike has surface oxidation on chrome bits and engine cases.  Some chrome parts need re-chroming. It is 40 years old.

Shipping is not included in sale price.  Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping.

Comes with NH title in my name.  This is a no-reserve-price auction.

Second Annual Cirkus of Speed By Öhlins Suspension

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

This year’s Cirkus of Speed by Öhlins Suspension features “police rodeo” star Ben Wolfe of Lock & Lean, performing precision motorcycle riding. Located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the second annual event is a combination of race machines, crazy customs, hot rods, exotic motorcycles and cars, V-Twins and race bikes, street and off-road machines. Scheduled to take place Saturday, September 28, other feature exhibitions include NHRA Top Dragster of Matt Cooke, the first production models from American-made Motus motorcycles, Triumph, an actual custom Honda Grom, custom Cycle World cover bike, Öhlins Harley demo rides, live music, food, racecar shake-rig demonstrations, motorcycle suspension seminars, and more, all taking place in the heart of the Appalachians’ best highways.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
