Honda CB description

This nice, original honda has:  new tires,  new front master and caliper,  new chain,  new battery,   new clutch cable,  new points,  fuel tank flush and carbs cleaned and synchronised,   ignition advance from a 750 k8.             Tapered steering head bearings.   New  neutral stopper and shift drum stopper...    It runs  GREAT,  and throttle response is perfect!   Chrome parts are in great condition for it's age, minor scuffing and pitting, and it has never been "polished" with steel wool,  some rust and discoloration or header, and a small ding on bottom.    Minor scratch and dent in fuel tank, some chips, and a slightly discolored area on top, look at pics.  RH sidecover  has been repaired on the inside with fiberglass.     Now, the tach. is inop, and will have to be swapped or repaired,   there is some minor oil seepage from around the oil pan area, and I'm not sure about the left hand side on the head.   I thought it was "damp" one day, and cleaned it off.  That was a month ago, but the bike comes with a partial gasket kit.    not a problem if you take care of your things and keep your bike clean.    The valve train on this bike is pretty noisy when cold.  It goes away once the engine is good and warmed up.   It does have the updated valve cover.   It does not appear to smoke or burn oil.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

The story of MotoGP testing has so far seen Casey Stoner maintain his dominance on the Repsol Honda. At the first test at Sepang 26 days ago - where the above footage was recorded - the 2007 and 2011 champion was the only rider to break the two minute barrier at the Malaysian circuit, ending the two-days at the track with a best time of 1:59.607.
