Up for Sale is a 1972 Honda CB450 motorcycle. Clear title. All original. Only 3,431 Miles. Frame # CB450-5015780. Motor # CB450E-5015811.The Motorcycle was sitting since 2006. The Carburetors where cleaned. New spark Plugs. Fuel line. Battery, Gas tank Flushed. The motorcycle starts right up and runs strong. No Smoke or leaks. Front and rear brakes work as they should. Shifts through all the gears. All of the electronics do work. Only issue I've noticed is the electric start sometimes does not work, but starts up fine with the kick start. As Far as the condition goes it is very nice for its age but overall the chrome shows pitting, worst spot is the rear fender. Gas tank has a small ding on the right side( see picture).The paint is very nice, some small chips on the tank, one side cover has some rust spots in the paint. Overall a very nice example of a running and driving CB450. You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
