Honda CB description
Offered for sale is this time capsule of a late
1970s Bay Area Chopper, and a former magazine cover bike from 1981. The bike
features a Gary Little John prism tank, an Arlen Ness hardneck front frame section, and
a very rare Crazy Frank rear Fender. Crazy Frank fenders alone have been known
to sell for $1,000. These old Japanese period choppers have a real following,
and are popular with many new collectors. This old show bike that is ready to
be restored to its former glory. The bike has been sitting since the later 1980s, and the skim coat of plastic that's on it is braking down, so the bike will need to be blasted back to bare metal and done over. But it's a great start for a Winter restoration. The bike comes with a clear matching number Virginia title, ready for the new owner to transfer into their name. The engine turns over, but the bike is not currently running. It's missing the exhaust, seat and brake calipers. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment expected within one week of auction end. Bike must be picked up within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with shipping quotes. Cash or Check accepted. Paypal accepted only if paid via Friends & Family option, which has no fees on either end if coming from a bank account or Paypal balance. Good luck! |

Tue, 12 Feb 2013Honda‘s CBR250R has done fairly well for itself since its introduction in 2011, helping to revitalize the entry-level segment of the market in the U.S. What some people may not realize is Honda has been producing a 250cc-class called the VTR250. Available in its current form since 1997, the Honda VTR250 is a naked standard with a Ducati Monster-esque trellis frame offered in the Asia-Pacific region.

Until now, it seems. Brazilian Honda subsidiary Moto Honda da Amazonia Ltda., recently began sales of the CG150 TITAN MIX, a 150cc bike with the world’s first production flexible-fuel technology.
How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.
