We purchased this bike from an insurance company. the bike was stolen along with a truck and trailer, from the previous owner.
The police found the truck and trailer 2 weeks after stolen. The bike was torn down but all the pieces except the nuts and bolt were inside the trailer next to the bike. We purchased all the nuts, bolts, and screws right from Harley-Davidson and put the bike back together. The engine and tranny was not dismantled the only thing that was dismantled were the fairing, gas tank, and miscellaneous pieces. There are minor dings and scratches. In addition to the restyling, the Street Bob joins the 1200 Custom as one of two bikes available for Harley’s web-based customization program known as H-D1. “Our focus for the Street Bob is always on street appeal,” Harley-Davidson’s Styling Manager Tony Pink said in a release.
