Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is a 2013 FHHRSE5 that was originally purchased (9-26-12). It has been my rider. Cleaned after every ride, kept in a climate controlled garage (my "Harley Room") and has had all scheduled maintenance (1k and 5K services). Its a cool bike and I wanted it to look that way when it left the house. Looks, runs and sounds great. Out of all the riders I have owned over the years, this has been the most enjoyable. Handling, sound and comfort are great. Many long and wonderful days in the saddle. This will make someone a great bike! I think the '13 CVO is a lot nicer than the '14 because of the music system and lower fairings. I can ride all day enjoying the tunes. A very comfortable ride. Also ,the lower fairings are nice to have on cool days. This bike is in very attractive condition. Again the 2 yr warranty is good until 9/26/2014. All items that come with a '13 CVO FLHRSE5 (except the dry wipe micro fiber cloth--don't know where it is) will accompany the bike: saddlebag bags (still in plastic rapping), CVO cover (still in plastic rapping), 2 keys with fobs, IPod (replacement--original lost), owners manual, CVO tool kit, leather treatment, and air cleaner rain sock. List price is $29,999.00 plus $435.00 freight or $30,434.00 plus dealer prep/doc charges, etc. Not interested in trades-- selling this bike to make room for new CVO Limited. Please no lowball offers-- this bike is priced way under retail, has some nice extras -- the price is much lower than a dealer would sell for (Retail) but more than wholesale (what I would get on a trade). Attractive price for both seller and buyer.

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
