Hi Thanks for looking.Up for sale is "Maybelle" one of the finest Hogs I have ever had.(and I have had many)This bike has original paint that has had the white pinstripes redone and then clear coated over all the tins. Pictures do not do her justice. This machine is super clean. No Issues mechanically fresh total Engine build with all the best quality parts.Engine is whisper quiet and transmission is smooth.still has internal throttle control and wiring except for front brake light wiring. All lights and turn signals work. Has correct original speedometer. This bike is so nimble and easy to ride because it has never been abused or allowed to go without proper service,The ride quality you can only get from an unmolested machine.She has been updated to electronic ignition and A S&S "E" carb. Consistant vintage show winner and Belle of the Ball at bike night. I could go on and on. I don't think you would be disapointed I would not hesitate to ride Her anywhere. 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
