Harley-Davidson Touring description

This has a new engine, new clutch, new S&S Super Carb, new transmission, new ignition system, new coil, new back tire and more. I have all of the receipts and paperwork to confirm. It has approximately 800-1000 miles on the new engine.  The new engine was done in October 2010.  I live in Oregon and it rains alot so I only rode it during the during the summer months.

Even if with all of these new parts, it is still having a starting problem and I just cannot afford to put any more time or money in to it. As you can see from the pictures, it is a totally awesome looking bike and I have always taken great care of it.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. If you would like to talk with me over the phone, please include your phone number and I would be happy to call you.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
