Harley-Davidson Touring description

This listing is for a 2005 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic. The bike is very sharp, and the Orange paint design really turns heads. Among other things, this bike is equipped with:

Cruise Control

AM/FM/CD player.

Front speakers in fairing.

LED Headlight

Light bar on Fairing (try finding one of these) (if you do, let me know)

Painted Inner Fairing

Digital air temperature gauge

Fuel Injection

Free flow air cleaner

Vance & Hines exhaust

Kuryakyn Ergonomic handgrips

Chrome passenger footboard covers

Chrome luggage rack on tour pack

Chrome transmission cover

Chrome handlebar switches and housings

Chrome trailer hitch

Chrome 'eyebrows' on fog lamps, running lights

Fluid changes with synthetic fluids

This is a great runner that can hold it's own, and cruise comfortably all day long. I rode this one coast to coast (to coast) in 2012 with only a tire change and fluid changes. The bike is in great shape, with just normal wear and tear, excepting a scrape on one saddlebag cover, and scratches on both sides of the tour pack. The pack appears to have been keyed, but it only went through the first layer of paint. See pictures.

Any yellow color you see in the pictures is because of the direct sunlight. The actual color is the darker orange seen in most pictures, and it is all like that.

As this is listed elsewhere, the seller reserves the right to cancel the sale at any time.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. I will do what I can to expedite either of these.

If you are shipping, I recommend CZC Trucking, 1-530-518-9119, and ask for Cory. They only do motorcycles and parts in an enclosed trailer, and they have done an excellent job delivering some things for me.

Buyer will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction. This can be through Paypal. The remainder of the money can be a certified check or bank wire transfer, wire transfer preferred. Understand that the motorcycle will not be released until it is paid in full. Once the purchase price is paid to me, I will send the title.

Good Luck, and Good bidding.

Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.
