2003 Harley Davidson Gold Key Edition Road King / Street Glide 100th Anniversary motorcycle Very nice 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Road King. This bike has options, and looks in the pictures as if a Street Glide. Obviously, Harley didn't start making Street Glide motorcycles until 2006. This bike has a set of hard bags, and a front fairing with stereo, etc., painted to match the bikes existing 100th anniversary paint scheme. The pictures show the bike with the Street Glide accessories, Corbin Solo Seat, etc., and so on. Also listed in the pictures are the road king seat, 100th anniversary detachable Road King Windshield with pouch, and also the regular Road King saddle bags. Bike also has the Stage 1 Kit, Big Bore Kit up to 1550 cc, with SE203 Cams, etc.. Bike has many, many extras, and I'm sure I'll omit some unintentionally. Chrome front forks, Polished Chrome front and Rear Street Glide Rims, Custom 2n1 Header, Extra Chrome accessories, hand grips n control, forward riding pegs, Custom lay down license plate, Custom Rear Taillight with custom turn signals, LED Fuel Gauge, on and on and on. EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
