1996 HD Bad Boy Springer Softail FXSTSB We purchased this bike from # 1 Cycle Center in State College, PA in 2004 and are the 2nd owners. Bike had 11,000 miles when purchased and now has just over 15,500. Have clean title in hand. Bike has always been garage kept and is extremely clean. It has been lowered and customized with a 200 wide tire kit and much more including a solo seat and removable backrest. The rims, brake rotors and rear pulley are all chrome plated RC Components Wizard. Motor is stock and no head work has been done. Only cam and carburetor have been changed cam is an Andrews EV27 and carburetor is S&S ShortySuper E . We have all the original parts we replaced and those go with the bike. (Factory seat, pipes, handlebars, stock fender, front wheel, etc) The only original part we do not have is the rear wheel. Bike is in excellent condition. It will be difficult to find one this year and model in better condition. Please feel free to ask any questions (other than what is the reserve).

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami

Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
