The Harley-Davidson Street Glide has the classic style fuel tank, Bat Wing Fairing, GTX hard side saddlebags that open from the top, a custom rear end and a large 18 inch front wheel. The Harley-Davidson has a Twin Cam 103 engine that puts out 1690cc’s, has a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission with integrated Isolated Drive System (IDS) and is also equipped with the Brembo four piston brakes for reliable braking when you need it. It has a six gallon fuel tank for long rides, and the Dunlop Multi Tread rear tire for a longer tire life. Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
