2014 Harley Davidson 1200 Custom, bike is in excellent shape, 1,700 miles, garage kept. I purchased the bike new in Hagerstown, MD for $14,000. I am asking $9,000 for the bike. I had the dealership install a windshield and back rest at time of purchase. I enjoyed the bike, but I stopped riding on main roads due to witnessing two horrific motorcycle accidents over the past couple of years. I will transport within one hour of 30518 with the cost of fuel incurred by purchaser. I will ship the bike, but the responsibility is on the purchaser to make necessary arrangements with transport company and pay required fees. Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
