2009 XR1200 bike has new paint just for a color change, it was orange. Has brand new tires only 60 miles on them. Vance and Hines Exhaust with Patriot Tuner. Fresh oils and plugs. Biltwell handlebars. LED headlight bulb and oil cooler cover. Bike is ready to ride no issues, owner does have a lien on title that can be cleared in about 2 days after sale is made. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
