Offered is an original XLH Iron Head Sportster. They are only original once. This bike looks like it belongs in a museum! Motor runs great and has never been cracked into. Tank, exhaust ,wheels ,fender its all originals including the buckhorn handle bars. This bike is an amazing snapshot of time, it has the original decals on the sides of the tank and they look great! This bike has never been over polished and has just the right amount of patina. Patina not rust. Bike shows well in its beautiful gold color. Pictures will show the original alarm located on the tag holder (most of these have been thrown away) I have the original title and receipts where the owner has payed for the bike. This is a classic Harley that will not be just a purchase but an investment. New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
