For Sale is an original 1973 Harley Sportster Chopper XLH 1000 w/ electric start and 5" over front end
This is a NO RESERVE auction Original numbers matching frame w/ 1973 1000cc Ironhead motor. Motor is electric start only. fork seals, chain etc appear in good condition This is a mostly original, 2 owner bike that has been stored in a garage since 1986 Does not run, but motor turns over freely w/ good compression Vin# 3A64016H3 Good example of a classic original ironhead appears to be original paint.( tank paint is bubbled and chipped).inside of the tank is clean, but smells of old gas.single disk front end.will need battery and complete tuneup along with tire and carb rebuilt before driveable.Also needs front brake lever/ master cylinder Front rim is dented and tire needs replaced. Mon, 07 May 2012Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.
