2002 HarleyDavidson Custom, black, 1570 cu in engine, 5 gear, Vance and Hines pipes. Has the HarleyDavidson Big Bore kit making it the 1570, 96 cu inch machine in 2009 less the 6000 mis on the whole motor. Stage II Screaming Eagle air intake with a Thunder-slide. Chrome and Black Levers, gauges, Mirrors and switch covers though out... Quick Detachable windshield and Sissy bar, i.e. the rear seat rest. Chrome and black highway pegs. Tires and Brake done April 2010 only 4000 mis on the perfect condition still. Steal Braided brake, clutch and throttle cables for added durability. Custom Matt Black finish done last year. New spark plugs and wires. Battery only two years old and was in a heated garage with a battery tender on it. Has a rear curved fender tip with the license plate in it very clean look. Also Tri-bar Head lamps and side fog lamps with a switch. Halogen bulbs for extended view at night and also people see you the rider. Really lamps up the road. Champion Trikes and sister company Champion Investments Inc. has assumed operations of Lehman Trikes, saving the company from closing. Trike conversion kit producer Lehman Trikes suspended its operations March 21 after failing the find investors.

The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
