Harley-Davidson Softail description

Harley Davidson 2014 Heritage Softail Classic

Up for auction is my 2014 Heritage Softail Classic.  I just bought a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Limited Low to get ready for some long trips at retirement.

This is an awesome motorcycle.  As of this listing it has 5,742 gentle miles.  This bike was always garage kept.

This bike can be easily financed

It is also eligible for a Harley Davidson extended warranty purchase that covers hundreds of items just like the factory warranty-Call a dealer for details - Otherwise no warranty is expressed nor implied in this listing.

Clear Texas title in my possession

Amsoil 20-50W full Synthetic Oil has always been used in this bike, along with K&N Oil Filters.  Oil change intervals were at the following mileage intervals:

1,000 (dealer 1,000 mile change) 2,610, 4,000, and 5,700 (just changed with a new K&N Filter)

103 cu in. engine, six speed tranny

Two brand new Drag Specialties spark plugs – Zero Miles

Extras on this bike are the following:

Optional Harley Davidson ABS brake system

Vance Hines complete exhaust system – No slip ons!

Harley Davidson aftermarket engine guards, with foot rest band

Harley Davidson aftermarket two up seat and back rest (silver studs match the rider’s seat-this is not standard on the Heritage)  Seat and back rest are padded better than the stock Heritage two up seat

Harley Davidson Super Tuner

Harley Davidson Stage 1 Breather System

Harley Davidson Two up rider rear floor boards (no pegs)

Locking leather bags – I have a kit for the inside of the bag top covers but have never had it installed – this kit prevents sagging of the top covers over time which is common with all leather bags

Tubeless front and rear lace spoked wheels no tubes or liner required) – This is an option on the Heritage

White wall old school style tires, with 5,742 miles, same as the bike

Optional oversize Heritage windshield

Oil temperature gauge with dip stick mounted on the oil tank

Upon final cleared payment the title and owners manual will be sent Priority Mail with a tracking number

For final payment call me for arrangements 469-396-3230 - Also call this number to discuss questions or other matters relating to the bike.

Shipping: Buyer is responsible for all shipping.  I will assist your carrier in loading.  I do not crate so please do not ask.  I will consider delivering within approximate 150 mile radius of Camden Arkansas for a small fee.  Details can be worked out with buyer after auction close

$500 nonrefundable deposit required 48 hours after auction, no exceptions unless you call me!

Harley-Davidson Ring Saved from a Filthy Fate

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
