Harley-Davidson Softail description

2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe, LIKE NEW PREOWNED BIKE WITH ONLY 420 MILES! - The 2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLSTN is a motorcycle cruiser with authentic Harley style. The Harley fenders on the Softail Deluxe are true retro style with their long lines and chrome Harley fender tips. And each fender says Deluxe so everyone will know how you roll. The Harley Softail Deluxe has a wide front end fork and gorgeous 7-inch ball motorcycle headlamp. White wall tires give this motorcycle cruiser a 1950s boulevard retro motorcycle look. New for 2012, the Harley Softail Deluxe features a powerful, new, larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. Hit the boulevard in style with this classic two-up FLSTN Softail Deluxe seat. At a lowdown 24.5 inches, it's among the lowest seat heights you'll find. And we've added some ergonomics to make riding solo or duo even easier, especially for riders with a shorter inseam. 'Collapsing' sides create a narrow seat profile, and the passenger seat pillion is detachable. Learn more about all of the features of the Harley Softail Deluxe. Also take a minute to check each of the other Softail Motorcycle features. And take a look at the Fat Boy Lo and also learn about the Softail FLSTF, for other custom Harley motorbikes.

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?
