Harley-Davidson Softail description

2011 FLSTF Fatboy with low miles and tons of upgrades. Bike is powder coated (even the brake calipers) and has more chrome than you'll ever want. I have record and receipts on all the work, but way to much to list (just check out the pics). It does have approx. $3k in LED lighting that was installed while the bike was apart and getting powder coating (several different colors activated by key fab remote). Bike was just serviced, including new battery, oil change, flushed all fluids and a new stock rear tire was put on about 50 miles ago (old one had nail). Vance and Hines short shots sound and perform great. Bike has never seen rain or laid down. Meticulous care has been taken with this bike. Comes with rear seat, back rest and cover. Over $30k invested, but I was in a car accident and long rides don't fare well anymore . . . my loss, your gain. I have clean title in hand.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.
