Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler

Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?
