Harley-Davidson Softail description

I purchased this 2006 Harley Davidson Deluxe last year from Harley Davidson of Danbury in CT. It had very low mileage and was extremely well kept. HD of Danbury has done the 1K, 5K and 7.5K maintenance.

The bike is garage kept and better then well taken care of by me.

This is truly a ONE OF A KIND Bike. All extras added below have been done this year (2013) and the custom work to the rear fender and extended bags was done by Orange County Choppers along with the airbrush work being done by Nub Grafix.

I still have the original rear fender, original front and rear seat, original full exhaust, original air intake and manuals to go along with it.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  Thank you for your interest.

Backflips on a Harley? [video]

Mon, 07 Dec 2009

In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
