This 2005 Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic Fire Fighter Edition is in excellent condition. The bike has 29766 miles on it and the tires are in good condition. This bike has the Fire Fighter badge on the primary cover and the badge commemorating 911 NYPD Ladder 15 and the 2994 victims that were lost that day. The Heritage will propel you forward while sending you back in time all at once. This bike has the following upgrades and add ons... smooth profile wheels, stage 1 kit, and Vance & Hines short shot pipes. The bike has been left mostly stock so it is a good candidate for your own custom touches. There are a few marks on the rear fender by the seat (can be seen in photos). This bike is road ready and looking for a new garage to live in. Bike has gone thru a full service and maintenance inspection. Price is negotiable and outside financing can be offered. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models

Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
