Harley-Davidson Panhead Chopper description

Hello I'm selling a 1952 Harley Davidson Panhead Chopper.  It was built 40 plus years ago by a family friend an i haven't changed a thng. Everyone these days are trying to build there new bikes to look like old  choppers. So here's your chance to own the real deal. The bike is titled a 1952 Harley Davidson an the numbers on the engine do match the title. However the engine is not a 52. The cases are original harley cases. I believe the only thing 52 on the bike is the transmission. The frame is a original Harley frame that has been chopped. Has a over front end along with ape hanger handlebars. The bike has a foot clutch with a suicide shift. Drum brakes. Also has a s&s e series carburetor. The motor is a 74ci motor. The paint on the bike is not fresh. Its old an cracking. Looks perfect on the bike though. This is no show bike. Just a awesome old survivor chopper. It is mechanically sound an fire's rite up. Goes down the road straight an shifts fine. The bike will be sold as is no warranty. Buyer will be responsible for picking the bike up.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

Marisa Miller Takes Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Training [Video]

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

If there’s one thing I like more than motorcycles, it’s hot supermodels, such as Victoria’s Secret Angel, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl and Harley-Davidson spokesmodel Marisa Miller. Miller has appeared in a number of promotional spots for The Motor Company in recent years, most notably for the Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle and to support Harley-Davidson’s U.S. Military Appreciation programs (one of Miller’s “American Bombshell” post cards is currently my computer’s desktop wallpaper).

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
