This is a clean barn find. Its been in a garage since the 1980's. Its a complete bike with a clear title.
I went and rode it 5 miles today with my son. Running great
The Oil has been changed and the carb was cleaned as well as the tank and a new fuel line installed.
SHE RUNS GREAT and Rides Great! Idles perfect and starts on the first kick. Its angreat easy restoration motorcycle or enjoy it how she is
The Chrome is good on the pipe and wheels. The tires have great tread, hold air and ride but are original and should be replaced for safety.
The tach works great and the speedo is none functional
(I also have a brand new NOS tail light mounting assembly that will come with the Harley for free.) The original one on the bike is in poor shape.

2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

Tue, 10 Sep 2013MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
