Harley-Davidson Other description

Up for sale by Blue Ridge Hot Rods
This is the owners personal Pro-Street bike.
Essentially every major item was replaced when the bike was rebuilt and updated summer before last.

The chassis started out as an '02 HD soft tail.
It now has a 47 degree rake, 200mm rear tire conversion using a chrome swingarm, and Legends Air ride suspension.
As for power it has a show polished, Ulitma 127ci El Bruto that was broken in correctly and combines the nasty pull of 145hp with rock solid dependability!
The engine breathes through Hooker stepped Drag pipes and sounds badass!
Compression releases ensure first time starting every time.

A dry race primary mates the Ultima 6 speed and Rivera Primo clutch to the engine.
Hanging from the trans is a Baker (Fire Starter) with a new battery.
We also added a complete new wiring harness that incorporates a pushbutton start that is housed in the fabricated dash.
All cables, wiring, and oil/ fuel lines are brand new.

It rolls on practically new Metzelers front and rear, a 200/50/ZR18 out back and a 90/90ZR21 up front, front and rear wheels are 80 spokes with Billet hubs.
It has a strutless rear fender and a FatKatz wrap around front fender.
It has 4 piston chrome calipers as well as chrome rotors front and rear.

The drag bars hold Arlen Ness grips and mirror, as well as brand new JB controls and a new Hi-Output Tri-Bar headlamp.
The paint was done here at the shop using BASF Kandy and Glasurit clear just before bike week last summer.
I removed the Speedo and Tach to clean up the lines before bike week, I still have them and they go with the bike.

We put over 800 miles on it this spring at bike week without a hint of an issue!
I have been fine tuning this bike for the last couple of years to get the dependability where I want it, it is a big attention getter and will roast the rear tire at will, but more importantly you can get on it and comfortably ride anywhere you want!
Please don't ask about trades, it's simply being sold to help fund a 2000hp street car project...
As I said above, the bike started out as a HD soft tail, but is titled as a custom.
Feel free to call or email with any questions.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
