For sale is a 2005 Special Construction Trike. Old school Trike has open primary with chrome belt guard. 111 S&S Motor with S&S Carb installed in 2010. Only 3000 miles since motor was installed. Hooker 4 into 1 exhaust- bike runs great and sounds great. Drum rear brakes and front disk brakes stops on a dime. Raked chrome lowers and Ape hangers. Joker mirrors and custom handgrips with low profile turn signal switches for a minimalist handlebar look. Dayton spoke wheels and suicide shiftwith custom skull shifter knob. You can easily return the clutch lever to handlebars if desired. Extra parts that come with the bike include saddleman seat backrest, extra drive and primary belt and cables. Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q1 2013 Results
Thu, 25 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson reported 15.9% increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
