First and most important is PATINA. This is not a show bike. It is a 1977 Shovelhead FXE that is ridden. It gets looks everywhere you go. Looks great and sounds great. It has original wear and tare. IF YOU WANT A SHOW BIKE THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. This is the bike I personally ride. It is set up for me the way I like it. Panhead hinged fender with emblem on rear. FLH front fender and rim. Early tank emblems. Solo seat. B carb etc. I have a Super E for it if you want. I have three seats, fenders, original grips, etc that can go with it. The stator, coil, clutch, tires, points, plugs and battery are new last year. Oil cooler and filter set up with new lines. Oil pressure is 40 to 60 lbs. #'s matching with clear title in my name. Bike must be paid for in 7 days. You must contact me within 24 hrs of buying. Free storage is no problem until you pick it up BUT the bike must be paid for first. Fri, 09 Aug 2013For sale on Ebay right now are two original Harley-Davidson Sportsters ridden by legendary stuntman Evel Knievel in the film “Viva Knievel!“ Click here to see the Ebay listing, which ends on Monday, August 12. The first is the “Flying Eagle” Strato-Cycle, which is one of two used in the movie. The bike is complete with full documentation including original sales invoice from Harley-Davidson in 1977, which certified (with matching VIN numbers) and specifies that it was used in the Viva Knievel movie.
