Harley-Davidson Other description

This is a "One Off " custom build that was built by Tony Fresina from Harley-Davidson of Baton Rouge, La. The Frame is a Sucker Punch Sally rigid with an Air Bag set up under the seat from Paul Cox Industries out of New York. The bags under the seat make the bike feel like a Softail while you are riding it. The motor is a big bore Panhead (80 ci) from S&S with an electric start and the transmission is a Rev Tech 5 in 4 with a kick start. This bike does have a foot clutch with a jockey shift. It would take me to long to completely list all of the custom applications that have been done, so I welcome questions for more information. This bike has been featured in multiple publications including Easy Rider  (February 2007) and The Horse Back Street Choppers (May 2007). I am selling the bike because I have three motorcycles and I can only ride one. I request that the winning bidder contact me ASAP with information on payment and pickup. I will not release the bike and papers until payment is received in full. Payment can be made through PayPal, or cash at time of pickup. If payment is by check, all funds must clear my bank before I will complete the sale. I am advertising this bike locally, so it is possible it will sell before auction end. Happy Bidding.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
