This is a 1963 Harley trike that is complete and in good condition. It hasn't been started in a number of years and will need tanks cleaned before it will run. I just had the carb. cleaned. Bike was running good,but smoking when it was parked by the previous owner. Has original metal box. Bike has a dual disc superglide frontend on it, but I have the original adjustable trees. It is setup on a 12 volt system. Needs battery. I made a deal on it and then found out my spouse is losing her job. I have had health issues this year and need to sell it as is. 3spd w/reverse transmission. paint is 25 years old and could use an update. That is a Pegasus and not a Unicorn on the box. Thu, 22 Nov 2012IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while. I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
Dashboard Camera Footage Shows State Trooper Rear-Ending Motorcycle
Fri, 13 Sep 2013Newly-released footage from a police cruiser’s dashboard camera shows the car rear-ending a couple on a motorcycle. Ohio State Police are investigating the Aug. 17 crash which resulted in serious but non-life-threatening injuries to Beavercreek, Ohio, residents Corey Waldman and his wife Amy Waldman.
